You guys knows about Marilyn Monroe. she's one of the actress and also a great superstar. I'm not gonna talk about her life but I'm gonna talk about her STYLE. As we all know that Monroe has a fabulous style. Every girls followed her style with a red lips, curly blonde hair, and what else? her dress? yes it is! Monroe is one of the most best fashion all over the years. Well I thought that a fashion thing like Monroe will never die fast. I thought it'll be an everlasting style and the most great fashion thing! Even every celebrity dressed like her. One of them is Madonna.

Madonna knew that when she dressed as Marilyn in a pink dress from "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend." And now, she's channeling her biggest inspiration again on the cover of her new album, Celebration. (BC)


Dolce & Gabbana have dedicated their fall line to Marilyn, with stark black-and-white images of her on T-shirts, skirts and striking dresses worn by actresses like Molly Sims and Lindsay Lohan.

A Make Up and Costumes

I was looking for Asia Fashion. Then I saw this picture (sorry, I forgot the link!) and it was really gorgeous. I'm so interesting with all the Japan Fashion Style, especially in Harajuku. But anyway, this picture is not came from Japan but from Korea, when I was saw this pictures I thought that it came from Japan, but when I saw the 'words', I think it came from Korea, and it was right. I really loves the make up and also costumes that they used. Really tough.. And I do like this look. I'm not a fashion freak or something like that, but I just wish being a fashion photographer like this. I mean getting Hello with kinda great make up and costume like this one, you know what Asia Fashion is better now or maybe much more better!

Journey To The West: The Beginning

Monk Tong Sam Cong has been charged by the Goddess Kuan Im to retrieve sacred Buddhist texts from India. Early on his quest, he releases a strong half-man half-monkey demigod named Go Kong from imprisonment. Despite having a bad temper, Go Kong becomes the monk’s protector and Buddhist pupil. He’s soon joined by Pat Kay, a pig-man with an insatiable hunger for women and food. The trio sets out together and met adversaries in the forms of a snake demoness and a river demon (Wu Cing) who manages to kidnap Monk Tong and drag him to his underwater lair. Once defeated, Wu Cing becomes the final member in Monk Tong’s traveling fellowship.

U.S. Launches “Democracy Video Challenge”

U.S. Department of State is asking citizens around the world -- including Indonesia -- to express what democracy means to them personally in a short video.

The “Democracy Video Challenge” is a competition for the best video completing the phrase “Democracy is…” Winners receive an all-expense paid trip to the U.S. to visit Washington, D.C., New York City, and Hollywood to screen their winning videos, get exposure to the U.S. film and television industry, as well as meet with democracy advocates from the government, the media and civil society. All submissions are due by January 31, 2009.

Participants in this video challenge must be 18 or older to enter. Videos can be any style: fiction or documentary, animated or live action, but they must be no longer than three minutes. The videos must be in English, or have English subtitles. Contestants may enter anonymously, but anonymous winners cannot collect the grand prize. “Democracy Video Challenge” semifinalists will be selected during the months of February and March 2009. An independent jury will narrow down the semifinalists to 21 finalists during April 2009. The general public will vote online for the winning videos from May 15 to June 15, 2009. Seven winners (one each from the Western Hemisphere, Europe, Middle East-North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South & Central Asia, East Asia-Pacific and one anonymous winner) will be announced in June 2009. In October 2009, the six publicly identified winners, one from each of the six geographic regions, will travel to the United States to claim their prize.

well, kata "demokrasi" berasal dari dua kata, yaitu demos yang berarti rakyat, dan kratos/cratein yang berarti pemerintahan, sehingga dapat diartikan sebagai pemerintahan rakyat, atau yang lebih kita kenal sebagai pemerintahan dari rakyat, oleh rakyat dan untuk rakyat. disamping itu, gw dan kedua orang temen gw sibuk memikirkan temanya dan lebih tepatnya KONSEP dari video berdurasi 3 menit tersebut. udah ribet-ribet bikin itu video taunya malah aneh banget hasilnya, and finally gw MENGULANG kembali video tersebut. hell nooo.. PR banget deh! pusing gw.. dan yang paling pusing ya temen gw si Cikhita karena dia harus mengedit videonya. satu hal yang gw harapkan, bukan menang ke HOLLYWOOD tapi si tugas sial ini SELESAI dan langsung di upload di YouTube dan memberikan cd video ke dosen gw itu. hiks hiks.. dan temen gw bilang video uda kelar, tapi sayangnya gw hari ini sakit jadi nggak bisa ke kampus, alhasil temen gw (mungkin) pusing karena dia nggak ngerti upload video ke YouTube, dan gw salah satu orang dari kelompok gw yang punya account YouTube malah nggak masuk. huhu.. maaf banget yah Cikha sama Lia. gara-gara magg gw kambuh jadi nggak bisa membantu disaat terakhir tugas dikumpulkan.

beneran deh, gw nggak mengharapkan itu video bisa menang, uda ikutan dan dapet tugas ini aja uda bikin gw gila. haha.. tapi ya lumayan lah yah buat pembelajaran. :)

Hayley Williams, front-girl of a power pop band, Paramore has a birthday party with her friends. Kinda surprise party. Well, she was born in Meridian, MS on December 27th 1988.

"Totally surprised tonight by all my friends. We took over the roller rink. Don't know why I ever have a care in the world with friends like mine. Thanks to everyone that came out tonight! Skate or die, indeed.", she wrote that on her Twitter.

For Williams, 2010 will bring tours of Japan and Australia, a headlining spot at the Bamboozle and more singles, videos and awards for Brand New Eyes. Anyway, you guys should listen to this album. It was really gorgeous. Hayley is sooo ROCK!!

this is one of the place of the scene when Sherlock Holmes fight with Lord Blackwood.

I was watched this movie. WOW!! That's one word that I said after I watched this Movie. It was so brilliant. This movie's setting in London, 1891. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson race to prevent a human sacrifice ritual conducted by Lord Blackwood. Holmes and Watson stop the sacrifice just in time and neutralize Lord Blackwood, after which the police, led by Inspector Lestrade, arrive and arrest him.

Blackwood's execution occurs three months later, during which Holmes has become bored without a new case. Watson prepares to leave 221B Baker Street to establish his own business, and he intends to marry Mary Morstan. Blackwood requests Holmes' presence on the day of his execution, and warns him that three more deaths will occur after his execution that will change the very nature of their world. Later, Blackwood is executed by hanging, declared dead by Watson himself.

"No girl wants to marry a doctor who can't tell if a man's dead or not.", that's what Holmes said to his friend, Doctor Watson when he knows that Blackwood is alive from his death. Oh my Gosh.. There are some funny scenes of this movie. You should watch this movie. Because, all of the scene is so brilliant. Unpredictable and the plot of this movie was so gorgeous. :)
